VIVAL
Part Three

Another way to ensure vival in our lives is to take up our cross daily. Matthew 10:38 states that "Unless you are willing to take up your cross and follow Jesus, you are not fit to be His disciple". Dying daily to the flesh is a mandate for vival to remain constant in your life. The entire sixth chapter of Romans is devoted to explaining to us that since we partook of the redemptive power of the Cross, we are now and must learn to live as we are dead to sin, but Alive to Christ. Paul told Timoithy in 2 Timothy 2:11-13 that "If we died with Christ, we will live with him. If we don't give up our faith, we will rule with him. If we deny that we know Him, He will deny knowing us. If we are not faithful, he will still be faithful. Christ cannot deny who he is." This is a daily mandate for vival and to maintain our Christian walk.

You see, we are in ministry and in annointing to the point that when we minister out by the power of the Holy Spirit, we will both display the Holy Spirit in our actions while at the same time, receive further infilling of the Holy Spirit. Like the fighter planes in the sky that can refuel in the air while still performing their mission, we are at the point to where we will have to be filled while the Holy Spirit flows out of us to complete his work. The Vival is a constant impartation and flowing out of the Holy Spirit in us. The constant here is the walk in Christ, not the constant attending of church meetings to appear holy. Constant legalistic rituals, traditions, and rules to gain acceptance within a group of believers leads to burnout, not Vival. Vival is more than just going to church on Sunday, Vival is a constant lifestyle ready to minister and ready to receive the Holy Spirit at a moment's notice.

In summary, If you look at the church history between the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament went through periods of idolotry consuming the believers to the point of the church dying only to be arisen by the compassion of God through the obedient servanr. In the New Testament, have you ever noticed that the church never died!!!. It was a vibrant, flowing kingdom of people fulfilling the Great Commission that needed to be encouraged by the Apostle Paul to keep our eyes on the prize, flee immorality, die daily to the flesh, take up our cross, minister to the needy, and deal with division when it takes place. Therefore, since the New Testament church never died but remained living and constantly dying to the things of this world, this means that we, as believers in Christ cannot die in our spiritual walk except to the flesh. Yes, you may tell yourself that you are dead spiritually, but how can a person tell himself that he is dead spiritually when it is the spiritual life of Christ in his temple telling him that he just needs a refreshing in order to be in the state of vival. How can a "dead" person convince himself that he is "dead" when he cannot be dead since Christ lives in him? He is therefore alive. He may be inactive, weakened, hurt, and depleted, but he is still alive. Either another "alive" person performed a misdiagnosis and presumed the depleted believer dead and convinced the believer that he was dead. Or maybe the guages that determine the benchmark of personal refreshing are out of spiritual calibration. Like I stated in the previous pages, there remains something in the spiritual fuel tank that provides the energy to get refueled. Constant maintenamce is needed from others and ourselves in order to keep flowing in the Spirit of God to live out vival in our own lives and to implement and give out vival to others desiring this need in their own lives.

Lord, I ask for those who are tired of draining and refilling that you will teach them to stay constantly refilled, constantly dead to the flesh, constantly alive in Christ, constantly taking up the cross, and constantly helping others to remain constantly in you. I now speak "VIVAL" and "NEWAL" into those willing lives in the name of Jesus. Teach us how to remain dying to our flesh and remain alive in Christ. Teach us how to stayed filled up in your spirit, how to keep going, how to practice Godly spiritual warfare, and how to stop for maintenance when required. We are a needy people, but there are those who are in more need than me. We are in the last days, therefore, we cannot go chasing revivals and going from revival service to revival service. Instead we must constantly be in the state of "VIVAL" to fulfill all the commandments and to fulfill the complete will of God in our own lives and more importantly, in the lives of others to fulfill the Great Commission. All of these things I ask in the name of Jesus I pray, AMEN!!!
