TRAILWAY TO TEMPLE
Part four

 In summary, the trailway to temple is paved daily through our spiritual walk. It is evident that the promise land of the days of Joshua is in direct parallel with the spirit filled Christian lifestyle. Both the promise land and the Spirit filled life had their fleshly enemies and strongholds to conquer. Both the promise land and the Spirit filled life have people who try to deceive you to go back into the era of Moses and a works-based religion instead of going forward and setting foot into what is already yours. Both the promise land and the Spirit filled life have their asherah poles of idols and their totem poles of sin to lead one into death by listening to temptation to commit a transgression / tresspass by performing a taboo act that will end up tattooing the individual mentally, physically, financially, spiritually, emotionally, and/or sexually as they participated in tribalsims that paid homage to other gods and not the God Almighty who freed them from Egyptian oppression. Even though the trailway to temple will get narrower as the Spiritual walk increases, the gate of familiarity to one's own culture increases and widens. Like the Joshua generation who were warned not to marry into the culture because of the familiarity, seduction, and absorption into a totem lifestyle, we must be very careful not to become too familiar, seduced, and absorbed and intermarry into a postmodern culture that is not our home propagating that the road to totem and the road to temple leads to the same God. This Is NOT TRUE!!! Totem leads to death and damnation, period!!! Temple leads to life and liberty, period!!!
Lord, right now in the name of Jesus, I ask that you would lead us down the narrow trailway to temple living in Jesus Christ. I thank you Lord for shedding your blood on Calvary for my sins and providing a way to live out your lifestyle through the power of your Word and the Holy Spirit. I also thank you that you are my advocate to God the father for our needs. Thank you for delivering us from the pathway of totem that we once went down and in many cases worshipped. Thank you for cleansing me from my tresspasses and transgression that were committed when I did an action that was taboo according to your word when I chose to submit to the temptation to sin instead of living out your will Lord. Guide us further down the trailway to temple to draw us nearer to you Lord to fullness in Christ through temple living and further away from the totems, taboos, transgressions, temptations, tattoos, and tribalisms that entice us, but leave us empty. All these things I ask in Jesus name I pray, AMEN!

Without surrendering your life to God and making Jesus Christ the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in your life first, there is no way that you can take the trailway to temple life and flee from the wide pathway to totem that you are currently traveling.
